Description

The 8040 RO Membrane Element is a critical component in the Reverse Osmosis (RO) filtration process, primarily used to treat drinking water. Designed to effectively remove impurities, contaminants, and dissolved solids, this membrane element ensures that your water is not only purified but also safe for consumption. With its high efficiency and reliability, the 8040 RO Membrane Element plays a vital role in providing clean and fresh drinking water for households, industries, and commercial applications.

Types of Contaminants Removed:

  • Dissolved salts (like sodium, chloride)
  • Heavy metals (such as lead, and mercury)
  • Chemicals (e.g., chlorine, pesticides)
  • Microorganisms (bacteria, viruses)
  • Organic materials

BW & ULP series has the properties of high permeate flow and excellent desalination.BW series is mainly applicable to the treatment of various industrial water.

RO membranes are commonly made from thin-film composite (TFC) materials and require regular maintenance to avoid fouling or scaling, which can reduce their effectiveness.

Notice:

Permeate flow for individual elements may vary from +25 or -15 percent. Element is vacuum sealed in a polyethylene bag containing less than 1.0% sodium meta-bisulfite and 10% propylene glycol solution. Element is supplied with an interconnector.

Permeate obtained from the first hour of operation should be discarded.
Avoid static permeate-side backpressure at all times.
These membranes may be subject to drinking water application restrictions in some countries: please check the application status before use and sale.
For element loading use only glycerine to lubricate o-rings and brine seal.
