A Thermal Mass Flow Meter and Vortex Flow Meter are essential instruments used across various industrial applications to accurately measure the volume flow of liquids, gases, and steam. In industries such as chemicals, petrochemicals, power generation, and heat-supply systems, these meters are critical for monitoring diverse and complex fluids. These fluids range from saturated and superheated steam to compressed air, nitrogen, liquefied gases, carbon dioxide, solvents, heat-transfer oils, and even fully demineralized water.

This meter is robust and universally applicable for liquids, gases, and steam, optimized for steam applications.
For gases measurement, if the gas temperature and pressure change a lot, pressure and temperature compensation will be a must, vortex flow meter could add temperature and pressure compensation.
The Koncept flow meter adopts Japan OVAL technology and design.
To protect the sensor, Koncept’s flow meter chose an embedded sensor with four piezo-electric crystals encapsulated inside the sensor, which is our patent.
There are no moving parts, no abrasion, non-wearing parts inside the vortex meter sensor, and a fully welded SS304 body (SS316 selectable).
With a patented sensor and flow sensor body, the Koncept flow meter could eliminate drift & vibration influence from a significant aspect of the working site when compared with other flow meters.
Apart from the electromagnetic flow meter, the ultrasonic flow meter could work as a flow meter and BTU meter, adding the temperature sensor and totalizer. The vortex flow meter could also work as a BTU meter and measure steam or hot water energy.
Requires very few power consumption: 24 VDC, 15 Watts maximum;
In gas measurement, a vortex flow meter could achieve high accuracy ±0.75% ~ ±1.0% of reading ( gas ±1.0%, liquid ±0.75%), which could be used in custody transfer. In contrast, the metal tube rotameter or orifice plate is usually used for process control.
A variety of signal outputs and selections, such as 4-20mA, pulse with HART, or pulse with RS485, are selectable.
In the electronic device of measuring flow, the vortex flow meter is the only one that can resist a wide temperature range up to the highest temperature, 350℃, and digital flow meters have the highest process temperature.
